Yesterday afternoon, I picked my sister up and we went to garage sales ...in the rain and .....not in the rain. We picked up a few things and had a nice time. I took a picture of some storm clouds as I was going over some railroad tracks that shows what the day was like. We ended up losing our power at about 2:30 pm and didn't get it back till 3:30 am! Lots of people at Cardinals in Millington, MI, with one waitress for the roomful of us power-less folks! It was so loud in there.
This afternoon I have to go help ma and dad learn about the internet :)

Isn't it Interesting.....
It' s interesting, yes, but not surprising, how people can make up rules as they go along and do whatever they choose to do and think that they are above everyone else (and the law) and expect that others will just sit back and let it happen...... they gloat.....
Someday people like this will come up against someone or something they hadn't counted on, someone or something stronger than they thought, someone they misjudged............

Got the Dining Room Wall Done
The dining room wall is now complete. Here it is:
My parents were surprised, but they liked it.
(Abovc the chickens on the shelf you see two things hanging down...they are pull cords from their ceiling light/fan.) I forgot about those....
We ate pizza with them and my husband helped them set up their new computer.
Trying to Remember
Well, I am feeling really inadequate and out of date. I think this should be easier than it seems to be for me.
Anyhow.........today we are going to my mom and dad's and my sister and her husband are meeting us there. We are going to put up some pictures and a shelf on one of their dining room walls. Mom has a small chicken/rooster theme going on and I took some pics of some and framed them. My brother-in-law made a shelf - she has been wanting one for awhile, and so we are putting it up today. They have no idea that we are doing that, so it will be fun.
They just got a computer and printer/scanner yesterday - first ever! My husband is going to set it up for them.
I need to leave now and put some apple turnovers in the oven.
More new photos coming up shortly.
